Most of my brewing notes are stored on scraps of wort-soaked paper strewn around the garage and the basement, so I’m going to try to throw some things up here for posterity.

Dry-Hopped IPA

OG: 1.051 / FG: 1.012 / ABV: 5.12%

This was my first attempt at dry-hopping, so I kept things simple and used a kit from RiteBrew. It’s surprisingly good — pretty drinkable even after just a week after bottling.

  • Brew day: 6/18/17
    • .25lb Caramel 20L — Steep 20 min @ 155°
    • 6lb Gold DME — 60″
    • 1oz Northern Brewer Hops — 60″
    • 1oz Centennial Hops — 5″
    • Wyeast American Ale Liquid Yeast
  • Dry hop: 6/28/17
    • 2oz Cascade
    • 2oz Glacier
    • 1oz Crystal
    • 1oz Ahtanum
  • Secondary: 7/5/17
  • Bottle: 7/13/17
